In route to my official visit to Syracuse University as a football recruit, I met a friend named Jake. I was sitting nervously waiting to board the plane from New York LGA Airport to Syracuse Hancock Airport when I ran into Jake. He somehow knew I was also a football recruit going on an official visit to Syracuse with hopes of becoming another member of the Orangeman family. We played four years together and had memorable moments at Chucks and on South. Now we are about 6 years post Orangeman life and I had an amazing opportunity to go to Arlene’s Grocery to shoot his budding band – Audio Revival. As the band performed its smash-to-be “Southern Song” and rocked the crowd, I was able to capture this amazing shot of Jake heading the group as the lead singer. With the dimly lit background and stage light shining perfectly on the artists, I was able to capture this awesome portrait of a fellow Orange turned rock star – “Jakie Boy” aka “Mad dog” aka “Audio Revival lead singer”. -iJustShoot.com
