Did you know that under the George Washington Bridge, on the New York side, there stands a beautiful red light house looking over the Hudson River? Before this shot, I spent the enter day shooting in the LES and Brooklyn. I was able to get some amazing shots. Like the reflection of the BK bridge in the glass of the Dumbo park carousel. But, I capped the day at 4AM with this “sick” long exposure shot of the Hudson River, GW and the little red light house. To capture the silky look of the Hudson and the bridge lights of the Hudson and light house, I opened the shutter of my Sony A77 for 30 seconds and pulled in all the lights of the three captivating subjects. It was as if the light popped out of the night sky and into the camera.
